Emily Flowers  born in Sango Bay near the Innu community of Davis Inlet, Emily's family moved to Inuit community of Hopedale. Later, Emily moved to Goose Bay and married a serviceman. Today she lives alone, supporting herself as a doll maker, artisan and craftsperson. From sealskin moccasins and mitts, to sealskin dream catchers and tea-dolls , this Inuk crafter is making an art of her craft. Caribou hair tufting and sculptures are her most recent creations. It is for her distinctive Inuit tea-dolls that Emily is becoming best known.
